Do you have a website?
Sound familiar? Yes, you got it! I’ve mentioned Sound familiar? Yes, you got it! I’ve mentioned these 2 platforms on my page. These platforms got your attention, but you’re torn in between them. Are you able to choose between the two?

Squarespace and Shopify appear to be comparable tools. You can build a website and sell goods thanks to them. However, they serve different objectives.

Check out the list below with some of the pros for each of the different website platforms to see which one is right for your business!

SquareSpace
- Its templates and content management are excellent.
- The website builder is gentle, reliable, and easy to learn.
- Hosting is provided within it’s builder so you don’t have to worry about servers.
- Squarespace is good for a few main applications: running a service brochure website, hosting a portfolio style site, building one-off events like weddings.
- Its lack of multi-currency selling features and limited point of sale functionality is a big turn off for this platform and would push me to use a more dedicated e-commerce platform like Shopify.

Shopify
- Excellent solution for your already established e-commerce business
- For those of you who are planning to build your online shop
- Powerful hosted platform that will also take care of your the transaction processing time.
- There are several apps available to assist you with accounting, customer service, inventory, reporting, shipping, and more.
- Considered to be the most easy-to-use platform for both small and large e-commerce businesses

Are you able to attract the right clients - or the Are you able to attract the right clients - or the right amount of audiences on your website? if no, do you ever wonder what you are doing wrong?

I would like to share with you 5 Key pieces on your website to get more clients:
1. Contact information
You want to make sure that you have a way for people to contact and get in touch with you. Whether it’s an email address, a Calendly link, or a contact form, you want to make sure that you have a clear way for people to contact you.
2. About you ( or your business)
Sharing about you and your business is key for people connecting with you on an emotional level. People want to connect with people, not soulless corporations, and your about page is where people get that emotional connection with you.
3. Services or Products
You guessed it, your services or products you sell is key when you are building out your site. How else will people know what you do and how you serve if you don’t share it all on your website.
4. Email Sign Up
Growing your email list, grows your warm leads into long lasting clients. You always want to be growing this so that you can reach out to them with all your new promotions and offers.
5. Free Offer
This can tie into the email sign up, but you want to have one free offer that you can easily share to not only your client list, but also on podcasts you visit or talks you give.

Do you have all five?
Your website should be doing the heavy lifting for Your website should be doing the heavy lifting for you. You want your website to be converting your potential leads, into strong advocates for your brand. But you just don't know what to do....

Here are some areas that might be hurting your website sales and how to fix them.

✨ Is your content inconsistent and unclear on what you deliver?
✨ Are your services outdated or incorrectly priced?
✨ Is the imagery/photography inconsistent to what you offer your clients?
✨ Are there broken or missing links?
✨ Does your contact form not work or not send you emails when someone reaches out?
✨ Does your site take a long time to load?

If any of these pain points resonates with you, you are not alone. Many brands have experienced this during the growth of their business.

The good part? All of these are fixable! Simply work with your website designer on the pieces that need to be adjusted and your website will begin to do the heavy lifting of sales for you!
One of the biggest things when it comes to working One of the biggest things when it comes to working on your website with your designer is providing helpful feedback or criticism. You want your feedback to help move the project forward and in turn complete the project on time.

Here is what NOT to say to your website designer:
- I don’t like it

Instead say this:
- I’m not enjoying the look of the current design you provided. May I see some other variations?
- The photos are not quite right for my services that I provide. Can we take a look at those together?
- The text feels a little heavy. Is there a way that we can lighten the text or add more space in the layout?
- The colors are not completely on brand with what is in our brand guidelines. Can we revise to match what is provided in my brand style guide document?

The key is to elaborate on what you might not enjoy or like about your website. Be clear on what points are maybe bothering you. When you provide clear direction on what needs to be changed, then the website designer is able to adjust and provide those changes effectively.

Remember, no one is a mind reader. This includes your designers. We want to help you succeed and look your best in marketing your brand. And the best way to achieve this goal, is to collaborate and be clear with your thoughts and feelings.
